SELECTED ARCHIVAL PROJECTS:

  • Ira Sachs, Filmmaker — Inventoried and cataloged Sachs's papers (1991–2016) and created a searchable finding aid. Facilitated the acquisition of digital films by MoMA's film archive. Developed plans for film preservation, distribution-copy inventory, and future collection development. Curated archival materials for public access.

  • Bette Gordon, Filmmaker — Inventoried and cataloged materials related to Gordon's films, with a focus on Variety (1983). Digitized photographs and print materials and am currently developing a book project centered on the Variety archive.

  • Digital Archives & Preservation Fellowship, New York Public Library — Researched hard-drive preservation challenges, including digital file management, integrity checking, and migration. Assisted with the transfer of materials from the Martha Graham Dance Company to NYPL.

RESEARCH, CREATIVE PROJECTS, EDUCATION: 

  • Collective for Living Cinema — Researched the history of the New York exhibition space (1973–1991) using personal archives and oral histories.

  • I Love New York — Created a zine series and Substack exploring the history of romance films set in New York City from the 1960s through the 2000s.

  • Mountain Rest (2018) — Developing an archival book project about the making of Alex O. Eaton's film Mountain Rest.

  • M.S.L.I.S., Archival Management, Pratt Institute

  • M.S.L.I.S. Projects: Management of Archive and Special Collections: processed collections for the Pratt Institute Archives; Digital Preservation and Curation: research project on proprietary digital audio workstations preservation; Projects in Digital Archives: digitized collection of ¼ inch audio reels; Visual Resources Management: digitized print and 35mm slide images and managed collection metadata in Adobe Bridge; Lesbian Herstory Archives Intern
