Archival services, preservation, and historical stewardship

With a background in film history, professional experience in the film industry, and a path that led to a master’s in archival management, I bring together expertise in organization, preservation, and historical stewardship with a creative perspective. I ensure that records of enduring value are thoughtfully maintained, meaningfully documented, and made discoverable for future research, interpretation, public engagement, and posterity.

Services include:

  • Assess archival and preservation needs

  • Process archival materials through organizing, cataloging, and rehousing physical and digital content

  • Create and cultivate archival collections and new archival materials through active documentation

  • Create finding aids and other descriptive resources to improve discoverability and long-term access

  • Design digitization workflows that support preservation and access goals

  • Develop preservation and migration strategies for born-digital materials, including emails, text messages, images, and proprietary file formats

  • Plan for long-term access through archival storytelling, exhibitions, publications, and other public-facing projects

  • Conduct archival research
